HI, while adding sharepoint folder in outlook 2010, certificate alert pop-up coming in outlook profile and certificate is using for sharepoint website. Both sharepoint and exchange using same certificate authority. we have add the certificate on client machine but did'nt help. except this above issue , both application environment Exchange&Sharepoint is functioning proper. is there authentication compaitble issue for both application? what should be possible authentication for both application so that other finctionality should not be impact? On certificate there is only server authentication. Is ther need to also add client authentication in certificate? If there is need to add client authentication then how we can add client authentication in existing certificate? Thanks jitender

The certificate should be a Web Server certificate, which I believe by default has both Server Authentication and Client Authentication under Enhanced Key Usage when issued from a Microsoft Windows CA.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi Lin, certificate alert coming on outlook and this certificate is using for sharepoint. In exchange and sharepoint, same certificate authority is using. If you need any other detail please revert thanksjitender
