outboundpool.messaging.microsoft.c om stuck in current session of smtp virtual server
Hi,
We're using Exchange 2003 with scanmail for anti-spam
We've been having issues receiving emails from motorolasolutions.com. I looked at the current sessions of the smtp virtual servers and i always have sessions from XXXoutboundpool.messaging.microsoft.com stuck there. I know it's emails from motorolasolutions
because when i sometimes get an email from motorola and look at the properties, it show it goes trough messaging.microsoft.com (probably they use office 365).
Is there a way to know why emails are not going through and the connection gets stuck in the smtp virtual server ?

Here is what i see in the logs

If i look at the mails that do go through, i see a DATA line and a QUIT, but i never see those lines with the emails from messaging.microsoft.com

Fixed it. but i had to disable Sender ID filtering on the SMTP. Wonder if it's that big of a deal.

That's a pretty old problem. Get the most recent build of the
msgfilter.dll from MS.
