hello i have a situation where one of users is trying to send a 29mb file. im currently opering in a mixed environment (ex 03 and ex 07). this user is on the ex 07 box. both ex03 and ex07 have the send limit set at 50mb. the ndr reports that my ex03 server is rejecting the message. any insight would be greatly appreciated !

Hi, How is mail flow to external is setup there. I belive that exchange 2007 mailbox user sending message to Exch 2003 and getting NDR. to achive this you have to set size limit on connector level too for Exch 2003 and Exch 2007 user. Are you certain that the message isn't being rejected by the recipient's mail server and the reporting of the rejection by your 2003 server? Can you post the entire text of the NDR? (feel free to obscure the actual domain names) 50 MB is pretty huge by SMTP standards. Missy
