Hi,
Which type of email account are you using? IMAP, POP3 or Exchange?
Is there any problem with your network connection? Have you tried sending/receiving emails from webmail interface? If it fails to send/receive in webmail interface, please contact your mail provider for further assistance. If the issue doesn't exist in webmail interface, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
- Configure your firewall software to enable Outlook to access the internet.
- Recreate the send/receive settings file (<profilename>.srs) and then test the issue again. To do this, close Outlook, find the <profilename>.srs file from C:\Users\v-stfan\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook, rename it to <profilename>.old and restart Outlook.
- Repair your account. Go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings, highlight your account and click Repair button.
- Create a new mail profile in Control Panel. See: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/829918
Hope this helps.
