outlook 2003 error message
HelpEverytime I try to connect to Outlook 2003 I get an error message that states "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator if this condition persists."This is a home computer. I am the administrator and I have not a clue what to do!!!

What do you mean it isa "home computer"? Outlook tries to connect to the Exchange server, and if it cannot you get this message. If you use cached mode, it will keep a local copy of your mail and if Outlook cannot contact the server it will just go to a disconnected state instead. The reasons for it not being able to connect are vast. Did you set this computer up at work, and then simply take it home? What is the background here?

you could try running outlook in safe mode to remove the add-in http://grok.lsu.edu/Article.aspx?articleId=118 & http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HP052427821033.aspx I would also try creating a new Outlook profile.
