Hi,
Thank you for using Outlook IT Pro Discussions forum.
The most possible reason which might cause Outlook to send duplicate e-mails, is that your antivirus suite is configured to check every e-mail that is sent from your mailbox. This will cause Outlook’s sending process to be interrupted in between. Thus, it will resend the mail after it has passed virus screening – resulting in a duplicate copy of the same mail being sent. So, I suggest temporarily disable the antivirus programs on your computer and check the results again. You can also send to other recipients, such as yourself to test the results.
Also, check the Task Manager to see if there are two outlook processes running, as this could also cause duplication of messages
Hope it helps.

Hi all, I have same issue with outlook2007 SP3 on window 8 pro. I have configured Gmail, Yahoo and icloud with IMAP. Default sent is selected FROM Gmail, every time when I send any mail to any one it creates two sent mails in gmail sent folder. If I select under settings >save sent item to outlook sent folder then it will create one each in both sent folders . Anyone can help??
