outlook 2013

I have an additional mailbox configured with my primary Exchange account, 

I would like to receive desktop notification when i receive Emails in additional mailbox also.

I have turned on via Desktop alerts in File -> option -> mail -> turn on desktop alerts.

even i have created rules for the additional mailbox -> when receiving a mail in additional mailbox show a desktop alert even then it it is not working.

I needs this desktop alert when i receive Emails in additional mailbox.

When you have Full Access to the mailbox, don't configure it as an additional mailbox for your Exchange account but add it as an Exchange account of its own.

Hi,

I agree with Roadys suggestion. We can add it as an additional Exchange account.

Please take the following steps:

Click file>account settings>new

Type your name and email address,dont fill out a password.

Auto Account Setup will now look up the server details then  it will prompt you for your user credential.

Fill out your own username and password.

Then you can check whether it can get an alert when receiving a new email .
