I have Outlook 2013 running towards a MS exchenge server onmicrosoft.com

Now I see that emails in the sent folder older than ca. five years, are being deleted.

Are they all gone now?

I was looking for a mail I sendt ten years ago, but can't find it.

Do you use a hosted microsoft exchnage server, like exchange 2007/10/13, or are you talking about hotmail.com/outlook.com ?

I use the MS Exchange server.

Mail address is tresfjording@tresfjording.onmicrosoft.com

Rediculus email address, but there are som advantages in Outlook 2013 versus ActiveSync ...

To my knowledge, there is a setting which can automatically "archive" or "Delete" your old emails sent.

Please check with your Exchange Administrator.

On my side, I prefer to export those sent messages at least once a year in a file like Sent-2014.PST which I can keep as reference.

I have now deleted all options under, in Norwegian "Samsvarsstyring". What it is in English I really don't know, but "Complience Management" seems like a good translation to me.
