Thank you for the very interesting information. It does answer to a small extent but I'm pretty sure that in another installation of Outlook 2013 I located and used a checkbox in the Options section that allowed the emails to bank up until I pressed
"Send and receive."
My thinking is that we should use mail the same way we use office letters. In other words I write a letter, put it in an envelope, and leave it in a tray that will some time be committed to the letterbox. This means that during the passage of
the day, I might reflect upon the sentiments I had put on paper. I would have retrieved the letter and changed it before sending it. Best regards, Michael
