I have added another exchange email mail account to outlook I am seeing two different calendar .I added one appointment entry to the calendar which refers to exchange server account in outlook it is updated in OWA also.but when i add appointment entry to calendar which is stored in pst file,It is not getting updated in OWA. Is there any way to merge calender stored in local pst and OST file. Thanks, Deepak

If you added Exchange to an Outlook installation that was already using a PST file, then all content is being stored locally, not on the Exchange server. Furthermore the calendar in the POP3 mailbox PST is probably the default, which is why changes aren't happening as you expect. What you need to do is create a new Outlook profile, with Exchange as the default account. Then add your POP3 account as an additional account. The contents of the PST file can then be imported in to Exchange. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

In this case I need to remove all account configured in outlook and reconfigure all account after configuring Exchange account first. Is there a way ,i can make Exchange calendar as default for all account instead of POP3 mailbox PST ?

The default Calendar is the first account that was created. You cannot change the default calendar once that has been setup. Your only option is a new Outlook profile with Exchange configured as the first account. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.

I have configured exchange and other pop3 Mail accounts in outlook.I can see calendar received on other pop3 account in OWA.Now I observe all mails recieved on other Mail accounts also being transfered to exchange serever and it fills mailbox space on exchange server. I want to configure outlook in such a way that : 1. Only Exchange account mails should bo stored on exchange server. 2. Appointments and meetings request recieved on all email account should sync to exchange so i can see in OWA. 3. Mails received on other than exchange account should be stored on local disc only. point 1 and 2 is working now after configuring outlook as per steps you provided.Plese suggest how can i configure 3rd option in outlook. Thank You

You basically want to per folder basis configure where its data is stored. Dont think this is possible. To my knowledge outlook can only specify a storage location per account. By configure an account to save it s data on Exchange, all the data is going to Exchange, not only the calendar folder. another one; why would you save data in PST file instead of have it on Exchange server? lasse at humandata dot se, http://anewmessagehasarrived.blogspot.com

For the POP3 account, if you look at the properties of the account in Accounts, you should be able to change the delivery location to a PST file, rather than the Exchange mailbox. Although it is has been over five years since I last looked at POP3 in Outlook. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources | In the UK? Hire Me.
