Can you explain it a little more in detail? Have you remove the shared mailbox, close outlook, reopen outlook and add the shared mailbox back into outlook? what happen if you do that?

Is the user using an Offline Address Book (e.g. client is in cached mode)? If so have you waited for that OAB to be updated and for Outlook to download the latest version?
Is the problem recipient hidden from the GAL?Active Directory, 4th Edition - www.briandesmond.com/ad4/

Try to have outlook 2007 setup in online mode. Can you see the user in the GAL? If you have online mode usually you should see the users in the GAL straight away.

Hi,
Did you check this issue under Cached Mode for Outlook? If so, please understand that Outlook uses LegacyExchangeDN to open another user's mailbox from OAB when Outlook is running in Cached Mode.
So, you should test this issue in Online Mode for Outlook.
Thanks
Allen
