I cannot change it back to the default, it changes it to a gothic kindof font and i have tried everything from setting, fixing from control panel, re-installing and i ran out of ideas. Any thoughts?

Does this happen to all emails? The font change is on the subject or email body?

If it's on the subject, one possibility is that there is a Conditional Formatting in Outlook that make the incoming emails which meet certain conditions display with a specific font, try to start Outlook with the "/cleanviews" command to check the result:

Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /cleanviews" in the Run dialog, press Enter.

If the problem persists, please check the emails on OWA/Webmail, what is the font like on web?
