Hi,

I have an xls file which works fine in any other computer except in my computer in the domain. in my pc all the xls files work fine except that file. I have MS Office 2007 on Windows 7.

I have tried the solutions provided in the weblink below with no resolution.

Did you get the error message is: An error occurred when  sending commands to the program? Did this issue appear all .xls excel files?

Based on your description and the KB article, you have tried several methods to solve this issue.

Now I suggest you try this method:

Please go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12 and select EXCEL.exe.

Then right click EXCEL and click [Properties].

Click [Compatibility] and make sure uncheck [Run as system administrator]

If the issue stills exists, please try to Repair your Office.
