rebuild performance counters windows 2008
I have a Windows 2008 server running exchange 2007 and i am missing the Processor counter. I came accross a couple articles on this but am having no luck. this one http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300956 references rebuilding them but i am not seeing a i386 directory on a windows 2008 installation CD. DriveLetter:\i386\perfc009.da_ Any help would be appreciated.Mike L.

First see if it's just disabled, the binary might still be there but counter is disabled. You can use the old 2003 tool exctrlst.exe to check and reanble still works for 2008. Bing it to download the tool. You can also check the registry.
