On a failing server 2003 R2 X64 server with exchange 2007, I tied to move the DC bit to a new server and alos tried to remove exchange server from the failing one. Due to numerous crashes it wasn't exactly a'textbook' job! - I had to seize most rolls from the defuked server.. Consequently, I now have a new server with everyting working and in place, except inexchange server 2007server management, there is the New server called CP and the Old server CP1. How do I rid therefrence to the old exchange server CP1. I have ruthlessly deleted all refrences to it in active directory and DHCP / DNSThanks, Mat.

Thanks, that is ferociously complicated, I couldn't actually see an entry for the Ex-server CP1.It appears in exch Man console, under server config, server config. Errors are appearing say it can't contact it, check network.Any other ideas ?Thanks
