sbs 2011 server, Can't connect to the computers through Remote Web Workplace. Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings
Remote Web Workplace on SBS 2011 opens remotely with no problem. I can browse the network shares open OWA, however I can't connect to the computers inside the network I see them in RWW but then I try to connect and start RDP I get error: "Your computer can't connect to the remote computer because the Remote Desktop Gateway server is temporarily unavailable. Try reconnecting later or contact your network administrator for assistance." I went through bunch of forums which starts this thread and most of them ends up with "did you get this fixed I have same problem" :) Searching more found MS document how to enable MMC for RD Gateway Manager http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2472211?wa=wsignin1.0 So this gave me error: "Unable to read RD Gateway Server Settings" One of suggestions found make sure file permissions are ok, but that was not a fix for me. Permissions were and are ok. Other suggestion was make sure certificate is attached in RD gateway manager, how I can do that if you can't open RD gateway manager? When I ran fix my network wizard on the sbs 2011 which gave me: "A networking component is not configured properly. (Component ID 4)" Which leads to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957711 and if I try to fix it in the wizard I get final page "The wizard attempted to fix all the network issues that you selected" Status is Errors so no luck. Great could someone tell me how I can fix that cert issues as it is driving me crazy by now. I connect to the RWW without any cert warnings, so it is installed correctly or part of it works ok. If you would need more info please let me know. Thank you for help.
