send as mail enabled public folder
I have users that wish to send email as the address I have associated with a public folder so that when people reply it lands in the public folder. I can't seem to find anything referencing a way to do this. Anyone have any suggestions?

The folder needs to be mail enabled to do this. Then when you bring up the properties of the folder you can either grant 'send on behalf' on the Exchange General tab on the Delivery Options button, or 'send as' rights on the Permissions tab, Directory rights button.
Then the user just needs to type the folder name into the From box in Outlook to send from that recipient.

The folders are already mail enabled. But for the rest pehaps I am missing something. I open Outlook 2007, go to the public folder in question, right click, choose properties and a tabbed view comes up. It has general and permissions tabs. However, they don't have delivery options buttons or directory rights buttons respectively. Am I doing something wrong? By the way this is exchange 2007.

I believe the tabs he is referring to are in the Exchange admin.
