simple setup question!
hi,
i am new to exchange 2007, well exchange anything for that matter. i have setup a DC with AC and on a seperate server have installed exchange 2007, the installation worked fine and every installed ok. i would just like to know what the next step is ?
the domain namei have used is not the domain in our email addresses but i would like to setup exchange to download the mail from our SP and then filter to the clients. at the moment each client pc connects to the SP to download their email. i have had a play round in exchange but can't seem to find out where to do this, it should be pretty simple, i just can't find it...thanks

I suggets that you click on the organization object in Exchange Management Console, then you get the Finalize Deployment and End-to-End Scenrio lists to work through

did you imported the exchange 2007 xml files into SCW before creating the security policy
be sure to pick the correct xml file, there is several of them depending on OS (W2003, W2008) and Exchange Role (Edge or other)

hi,
yes i did import the xml files and now have 3 new options in the wizard :
Exchange 2007 Mailbox
Exchange 2007 Hub Transport
Exchange 2007 Client Access Services
I have tried enabling thos 3 and it doesnt appear to work, do you need to restart after applying a new policy, possibly thats my problem...

You should need to do a reboot after you applieda policy.
have you tried to rollback your policy and create a new?
