This was due to mcafee port blocking on port 25! Thanks anyway!

Sorry Rock, This was relating to another post regarding telnet on port 25 to an exchange server. I was unable to telnet from a machine on the same network to a exchange server, I was able to ping and telnet in on other ports. It was down to Mcafee 8.00 blocking traffic on port 25 on the machine that was trying to telnet. Damn mcafee!! Hope this helps someone as it completed annoyed me!
