spam message terminates SMTP Service
Yeah this is happening to us too. We've got GFIon our boxes as well...however, we've managed to back up 80,000+ messages.... It's hard to beleive that a spam message could cause this kind of grief. I hope there will be something we can do about it before it happens again.

I spent the whole day going through over 20000 messages in 3 different servers until I figured out which message was causing this. The damage caused by this was huge. I found out of this article googling the ip address of the #"$&#$%!#"$ that sent the message. It would be great if MS would release a critical hotfix for this!
