Agree with Andy, Exchange 2007/2010 are very hunger for resource and consume whole memory in machine available but yes it release memory when other resources needed for it. In exchange 2003 its not exact as Exchange 2003, So memory consumtion can be estimated by how many memory system has currently.Anil

Hi Sonias, I agree with Andy and Tim. Store taking 1.2GB is not an indication of the problem all by itself. Store memory utilization can go up to 1.2 GB or sometimes even more when viewing through Task Manager. I have not seen it go over 1.5 GB, but it would typically not take more, even if there is 8 GB of RAM in the machine. And another thing worth pointing out. Since you are using Exchange 2003, there is no reason to increase the RAM beyond 4GB since that is the most that can really be addressed regardless. In fact, doing so can actually hurt performance.
