I am trying to let Dragon Speak by Nunce, ver 12.5, scan my word documents to analyze my speech patterns.  It can do this with an .rtf file, but not with my Word 97-2003 files nor my Word 2007 files.  I am running windows 8

I have seen two error messages.  One says "unspecified error", the other said Dragon was being blocked by trust center settings.

When I go to the trust center, I see that none of my existing file types are selected for blocking.  Any thoughts?

Please make sure your add-in is enabled. to do so check the below link.

1. In Word   2. Click on 'Help', at the botttom of the menu click on 'About Microsoft Office Word'.   3. Then click on the Disabled Items button.  

4. Select the Disabled Item and re-enable.

also Open Dragon Speak before opening Word.

I did make sure that the Dragon add in was enabled, and opened Dragon first, but the problem remained.  I found something on the Dragon forum that seemed to say this is a bug when using Office 2013 that they are aware of, but have not rectified.  

What I am doing to work around it is use a batch file converter to make copies of the files in the .txt format, which I will then run through Dragon
