In Exchange 2003 you are limited to Exchange database maximum size, Standard versus Enterprise , MB can grow as long as the database have room for it. Check the logs to have better inside as far as what is not happening http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821829 Worst case scenario you can always PST out mailbox, reduce the size, move it, bring back to PST back , or PST out once again, nuke the mailbox, Create new MB, import PST back, remember doing it this way , you will lose outlook catch etc. and take care of BB etc. If exist but at the and of the day it will work (-: Good Luck ocd Oz Casey, Dedeal MCITP (EMA), MCITP (EA), MCITP (SA) Visit smtp25.blogspot.com Visit Telnet25.wordpress.com This posting is provided AS-IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.

You can increase the level of detail that is captured in the Application log by increasing the logging level. Other issues that you may experience during the move mailbox process may include the following: l Size limits on the destination server, including mailbox size limits, can prevent successful mailbox moves. Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition includes a 16-gigabyte limit. l A mailbox must be associated with a valid account. If the account that is associated with a mailbox is disabled, the associated external account must reference SELF in the Active Directory directory service or in a resource account. l View the Admindmp.txt file to troubleshoot issues that occur during or after a mailbox has been moved. l Try comparing the mailbox attributes on the problem mailboxes with mailboxes that are known to be good to determine whether a configuration difference is causing the move issues. For details, see the KB821829. Hope helps.Noya Lau TechNet Community Support

the only resolution i coucl come up with was to export the mailbox to a pst file, delete mailbox from exchange server A, create a new mailbox on exchange server B and import the mail into the mailbox.
