Hi,
Do you have enough permission to create mailbox in Exchange 2010, Also try to create it with Exchange Managment Shell. Have you created any email address policy recently If yes then rmove it and then try it.

I'm logged on the Exchange server as Administrator, so there shouldnt be any problem with permissions. The email policy on the Hub Transport is the default policy, and this cannot be removed.

Just because you'reloged on as Administrator doesn't mean you have Exchange administrative permissions.

The blogpost on telnet25 suggest that there is some problem with WMI. have you restarted WMI ?

Is this for any user you try to mail-enable? Is it just for the one? Check your EAP and see if any contain * (wildcard) or any other unsupported charcter.

* Ran EXBPA Analyser and check the Report
I have seen lot of cases like that
Workaround:
* Dismount all the database and take edb file copy to another location
* Uninstall and reinstall the MBX role
Thanks Joseph Pradeep
