Which type of email account are you using? IMAP,POP3 or Exchange?
Did you get any error message if we manually run a send/receive by pressing the Send/Receive button?
If you email account has a webmail interface, please logon to the webmail interface and check if you can see new mails there. If the problem exist in webmail, please contact your mail provider for further assistance.
If the issue doesn't exist in OWA, we may first try resetting your folder views in case this issue is caused by corrupt view. To do this, exit Outlook, press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type outlook /cleanviews and press Enter.
In addtion, this issue may also happen if the send/recive settings (<profilename>.srs) file is corrupt. We can try recreating the send/recive settings file to see the result. To do this, close Outlook, find the <profilename>.srs file and then rename it to <profilename>.old. Restart Outlook to see if it works. By default, the srs-file is in the following location:
drive:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook
