hi all, i have a few user inside the exchange organisation who are trying to send an email to an address outside of the organisation. the users are getting bounce backs. the bounce back says The following organization rejected your message: avasout03. I then look in message tracking and there is an evenid of fail and under the serverhostname the value is relay.plu.net What does this mean? 1)- are my users on a blacklist 2)- should i ask the other organisation to whitelist our domain We are using Trend Hosted Email Security for incoming mail and we are sending out via PlusNet Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

Hi, You should ask the other organization why they don't accept mails from your environment and what you can do so that they will accept the mails. Leif

so is this the other company blocking the email? I am just confused as to why it says plus net have blocked it and not the domain name of the company we tried to send the email to

Hi, I would say that it is the other organization that is blocking your email for some reason. If plusNet were blocking yo - you would have no outgoing mails at all. PlusNet is just the server that is experiencing the reject. Leif

i have created another send connector to route via dns - i will see what happens here

i think this is an issue with plus net - the workaround i have done will be fine for now thanks
