Hi,
When Outlook is running in cached mode it uses the offline address book.
This offline address book is by default generated once each night and then downloaded to the clients some time next day. In short it can take between 24 and 48 hours before a change is reflected in the OAB.
You can manually update the OAB and the get Outlook to download the OAB to speed things up.

If left constantly running, Outlook in cached mode automatically updates the offline address book on the client every 24 hours.
To manually force a download of the latest offline address book, use one of the following methods:
On the Tools menu, point to Send/Receive, and then click Download Address Book.Exit Outlook and then restart it. After Outlook starts, the offline address book download will start one to five minutes later.
And you can also refer to the
KB841273. Hope helps.Noya Lau
