Downloaded and printed out "Migrating Windows Small Business Server 2003 to New Hardware" article and everything worked pretty smooth untill the end in which to remove the old server. I ran dcpromo and and get a error that it cannot find any domain -- the error is -- The box indicating that this domain controller is the last controller for the domain-domain_name- is not checked Howerver no other domain controller for that domain can be contacted and it fails - and if i just shut the old server down i get real long log in times so i found article id 255690 How to view and transfer FSMO roles in the graphical user interface and everything seems to be pointing to the right server ?? thanks in advance for any help
