eXchange POP3 supports message size restriction. You can optionally set limit on message size for downloading. If message is too big it is deleted without being downloaded but a message is sent to the intended recipients stating that the message was discarded due to its size. With the notable exception of the SBS 2003 POP3 Connector, most of these tools forward your mail with SMTP to Exchange. This means that the message size restrictions you have implemented globally or on a per mailbox basis are applied (and alsoare filteredby your anti-spam settings if installed on the Hub role).You should check out the features of the various products and give them a try.
