If you are running Small Business Server 2003 or 2008, a POP3 connector is included. With plain Exchange 2003 or 2007, you will need a third-party application. There is an abundance or "POP3 connectors" and "POP3 down-loaders." Below are some links, but you could do a search on these terms as well.Look out for these features: It talks to an outside POP3 mailbox at regular intervals, downloads all the email there, and forwards it toyour Exchange server via SMTP. Regular intervals should at least be 5 minutes. Some include virus-scan, some support IMAP4. SSL/TLS should also be considered important:Eclarsys PopGrabber (Basic version is free!)http://www.eclarsys.com/popgrabber/ MAPILab POP3 Connector for Exchange 2007http://www.mapilab.com/exchange/exchange_pop3/ eXchange POP3http://www.exchangepop3.com/?type=GoogleAdWordsContent SmartPOP2Exchange - POP3 / IMAP Connector for Exchange and SMTP Servershttp://www.jam-software.com/smartpop2exchange/index.shtml?gclid=CNHosvvdgJ4CFcts4wodAgWWqw&cp=GoogleAdvertisement&cp_kwd=SmartPOP2Exchange_EN IGetMailhttp://www.igetmail.com/?source=google_pop3connectortext&gclid=CJWdzPzdgJ4CFYIA4wodX120oQ P.S. Will Shepherd's solution does also work well, but requires anOutlook client to be online and do the download to your Exchange mailbox. A POP3 connector runs on your Exchange server. When the mail is downloaded, you can access it with ActiveSync and OWA without dependency on another client. MCTS: Messaging | MCSE: S+M | Small Business Specialist

eXchange POP3 supports message size restriction. You can optionally set limit on message size for downloading. If message is too big it is deleted without being downloaded but a message is sent to the intended recipients stating that the message was discarded due to its size. With the notable exception of the SBS 2003 POP3 Connector, most of these tools forward your mail with SMTP to Exchange. This means that the message size restrictions you have implemented globally or on a per mailbox basis are applied (and alsoare filteredby your anti-spam settings if installed on the Hub role). You should check out the features of the various products and give them a try.
