In exchange 2003 I moved a mailbox from one storage group to another. I logged off about 3 minutes after it started. When i logged back on I saw that only a fraction of the mailbox had moved. The log basically has no information. ( I now know not to log off during a move)my question is - is the users original mailbox location good, would it have rolled back?

Hello,If you have made the task in Exchange 2003, by default, Exchange roll back it if detect errors. Do you have two mailboxes now? the original mailbox and the new mailbox?Regards.

Yes, i have a 200 meg file on the target and 1 gig on the original location.

Usually, Exchange moves a mailbox in two steps:1. Copy mailbox to destiny2. Remove original mailboxIf task didnt finish, the messages copied should be in the original mailbox too. Check this.
