hi there, i recently got a stop error on windows vista ultimate. im running a quad core on a good mohterboard, gigabyte with quad bios and quad ram slots everything. i have 2x1gb crucial ballistix rams 8500 i believe. i started to get lag on my computer and windows explorer started to act up. i installed firefox to use because using IE was unbearable. after a day or two my system just kept getting blue screens. i reformted the hardrive and now everytime when i try to reinstall a new copy of vista onto the hardrive it would give me stop errors. the hardrive is totally blank, nothing installed on it because of reformat. here are some of the stop error codes.0x0000001a(())these ones down here are in paranthesis par with the top one0xc08010540x0000ffff0x00000000the instruction at 0x74417984 referenced memory at 0x02628003. the memory could not be read.i could get to the bootup from disc screen, it would copy the files but when it expands, it always cuts me off saying it could not grab a certain file. after that sometimes the blue screen would pop up. i ressetted the bios once. all of my hardrware has been the same as i have been using it for over a year.
