hello,this is my first thread and i am completely dump to the computer world, so if this request sounds silly you now know I'm a beginneri wanted to reinstall widows xp, on my dell computer. i had alot of problems with virus and i just wanted to start fresh. i got out my windows XP CD and reinstalled. during the reinstalling it failed and stopped half ways through. a file was missing in my C:/windows folder. not sure what it was aboutnow when i reboot my computer i get two opinion's windows XP media center edition or windows XP Pro, the Windows XP pro i want to remove as it just boots into a blue screen and gives me an opinion to reboot by pressing F3. how do i remove Windows XP from the system startup menu, i just want rid of it.one more requestalso is there a way to get my computer back to the way it was when i bought it. i can save all my files on an other external hard drive. i want to format the lot and restalling windows and a few other programsthanks
