I am logged into the server with a Domain admin account There is no WSUS server in the domain, there once was but it has been removed and the group policies have been altered. Can anyone help me!! Hi Rusware, The error code 8007005 that you received when trying to check updates means access is denied. Please first check whether Domain Administrator group is a member of Domain Guests group. If so, please remove it from Domain Guests group. That will cause the permission issue. To resolve the problem, Please try the methods below. Method 1: Reset Windows Update components.
