2008 preview install problems
Having internet problems so forgive me if this got posted twice. After entering my activiation key I get a Cannot Load Dources\install.wim, which I confirmed is not on the dvd. I have seen lots of posts that have to do with vmware or the drive not being recognized but those don't apply. It's installing from the dvd so it has to be recognizing it. This is a clean install onto a blank drive. Also asked alot in posts is where the dvd came from. I burned it from an iso image downloaded from the microsoft site. I am installing standard RC1 x86. Anybody have this problem before?

Yes, that's a known problem. Download a new ISO (it could be corrupt), burn the DVD at 1X and you should be good to go.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now

Thanks, butthe same thing happened again and again. I gave up and bought vista home premium upgrade from microsoft using digital locker. Guess what? Same deal. Only it doesn't run from a dvd, it runs from the hard drive, so there is no possibility of a bad burn and this time the file is actually there. Is there any solution known other than downloading the same file until it seems to work? I have sent an email to microsoft but not as a support session since you need the product id to start a session and I can't get one until it is installed. Which means it might be a few days before I get this resolved, and I probably spent a little more on the download just for the convenience of having it quicker
