Archive server
I would like to ask you about archive server ( normal server ) ,I am going to create new server in my environment as storage server to use it with dynamics handling. My questions are : what is the version of windows should I use ( windows server 2008 R2 , storage server 2008 R2 ) ? The best structure of files and folders ? If you have any advice or ideas for my scenario ? Thank you so much . ashraf

Better with 2008 and Latest Server editions. It has File Server Role inbuilt and better support for Caching as well (Offline File Sync) Thamara.

what is the deference between the tow version of Microsoft server 2008 ( standard R2 , storage 2008 ) ? I want to install new server to use it as archiving server to Handel by MS dynamic server what is the version of windows server should I use windows storage or windows standard ? please help meashraf
