Hi, When I am on LAN I use BITS to download a file from the server. The IP On LAN is a constant IP so BITS downloads without any issues. But on internet we are routed to the server for file download through a different IP. The IP changes are very dynamic as we use nearest edge server to route us to the origin server for file download. During this time BITS is not able to pick up IP however long we wait and keeps giving transient error. The error is resolved only when we restart BITS service. Is there any way around this. How can we make BITS to pick IP everytime. I am using COM wrapper for BITS to download in C# Winform app. And in midst of download when we restart BITS it gives RPC_E_DISCONNECTED error which get resolved only when we restart application.
