I have a 2 node 2008 R2 NLB, and am experiencing the same issue as here - http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverhyperv/thread/47a53a8b-d0dd-4d4d-aa97-a3f04990fa53 (didn't resurrect this thread because it was in the HyperV group). So the short of this is, how do I get the NLB VIP to be available in the bindings options of IIS7.5?

Hi, Thanks for posting here. Please note that IIS will not display NLB virtual IP in the binding menu. You need to write the IP in the binding instead of selecting the IP from the list. In order to use virtual IP, just clear All Unassigned in the IP address tab and type the IP which you would like to bind. Hope it helps. Best Regards, Aiden Aiden Cao TechNet Community Support

Thanks, the odd thing is that I can type ANY IP address I want in there and it doesn't complain. Even if it is not bound to the server.
