Cannot access/map DFS Share
I have a user who is unable to access DFS share. Let's say the namespace is: test.com\documents
The user is able to get to: \\test.com but not \\test.com\documents
When trying to access \\test.com\documents the system just hangs and then gets the error "The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred: Configuration information could not be read from the domain controller,
either because the machien is unavailable, or access has been denied."
However, if I just map it as a regular share (\\server\documents) the system is able to access the folder just fine. Any ideas?

Try disabling Routing and Remote Access service on user's machine if it is started and then try, see if that makes any difference.
Also, you might get some more help in File Services and Storage
