Cannot access ftp server by using IPv6.
I'm facing a problem using IPv6.I'm trying to connect Vista(IPv6) to Win2008(IPv6) using only Ipv6 network.[ping servername]and calling [\\servername] in explorer worked ,but [ftp.exe servername] does not work.Like this. > ftp servername > ftp:connect: connection timeout. On the above situation , http was not connected to each other machine.Vista Network Diagnose says "Check if IPv4 is checked."So, I put a check on IPv4 on network configuring dialog on vista machineand then became http connection correct. But still ftp cannot connect.Putting checks on IPv4 on both machine(Vista,2008), http and ftp works okay.Cannot I use IPv6 connection alone (without IPv4)?If you have any idea, please advise me!!

There are twoversionsof theFTP Publishing Service for IIS 7 on Windows Server 2008: The Built-In FTP Publishing Service within IIS 7 (installable through Server Manager) Theseparately downloadable and installable FTP Publishing Service for IIS 7 (Newer package) The latterFTP service incorporates many new features, like IPv6.To use FTP with IPv6 on Windows Server 2008, install the separately downloadable FTP Publishing Service.Download locations:Microsoft FTP Publishing Service for IIS 7.0 (x86)Microsoft FTP Publishing Service for IIS 7.0 (x64)
