Certificate expiration
I did not see a section for Certificate problems so I placed it here in General, sorry in advance. I have a windows 2008 R2 sp1 DC whos computer certificate has already expired. I log on with a domain admin account and launch MMC traveling to Personal then Certificates. I see the listed expired cert but when I attempt to renew certificate with new key ..... I get Certificate enrollment screen displaying: a red X next to Status:unavailable the permissions on the certificate template do not allow the current user to enroll for this type of certificate. You do not have permission to request this type of certificate. Any ideas why, even though I am logon with a domain admin account?
