Dear Lauraevans, IEincludes customizable security settings to help to prevent malicious Web site that script the Microsoft Dynamic HTML (DHTML) Editing Component from obtaining access to your Windows clipboard data. So, If you turn on the "Allow paste operations via script" feature, you receive the following security alert whenever a Web site tries to access to your Windows clipboard by using the DHTML Editing Component: Internet ExplorerDo you want to allow this page to paste information from your clipboard? the message youhad prompeted torid thismessage do the following steps: 1.going to Internet Option menu. 2. Hi all:Here's the "Do you want to allow this page to paste information from your clipboard?" revisited!I do not want to allow other websites to access the clipboard. However, I spend a lot of time entering data into web forms by copying it from a Notepad file, and pasting into the web form. I get the above message every time I try to do a paste.I went into the security settings, and tried to set up a trusted site called "localhost", thinking that might do the trick. But IE says that I cannot enter a site that is not https://.Does anyone have an idea as to how I can enable the ability for me to paste, but not allow a website to access my clipboard? Thanks!Mike
