Creating a trust relationship
I assume from your description that these are two separate forests, and not a domain with a child domain. Are these Windows 2003 domains? In order to setup a two way trust go to administrative tools, Active Directory Domains and Trusts from one of the domains. Right click the domain and go to properties. Go to the Trusts tab and click NEW TRUST. Follow the directions in the add a trust wizard to create your trusts. You will need domain admin level access in each domain to do so. Once the trusts are setup your best bet is to add a DNS zone in each domain for the other domain (either a stub zone - or a secondary zone) which should allow you to then resolve addresses from either domain. If you need more details that I posted - feel free to ask. I would be happy to help you out.

Thanks so much for your reply.
Now will I have to do this setup from each domain controller? As in setup the trust from the domain controller on domain a and the same on domain b?
