DNS record problem

Hi, I have a problem on my 2003 R2 server. I'm runnign a DC with DNS. So far I had a local A record for domain.com with the local IP of my DNS server. And a local A record for the www.domain.com going to an outside IP from the www hosting. My problem is that now I have to make domain.com (without the www) to respond to the outside IP of the WWW, so that when local clients acces the website without typing the WWW in front, they don't get an error. As a scheme this is my problem:

So far this is my local DNS is

domain.com > LAN IP

www.domain.com > WAN IP

And I need to be like this

domain.com > LAN and WAN IP

www.domain.com > WAN IP

Will I have LAN DC problems if a erase the A record for my LAN IP and I replace it with the WAN IP, so that the websiter works from within the organisation?

Thanks,

Yes this can NOT be done, you have a split dns namespace, your only reliable option here would be to use a proxy server that uses an external dns, then users can browse http://domain.com using the proxy server, however as long as they use something that isn't configured to use the proxy, for example trying to access ftp://domain.com it will use the clients DNS servers that has to point to your AD DNS Zone.
