Data Recovery

Hoping you can help with a situation we are in at the moment. I have accidently ropocopied /mir over the wrong partition on Our Windows Server 2003 Standard SP2 server. There was important data on that drive that has now been wiped (about 300gb). We also do not have a working backup of this drive or recovery points. I have tried to use GetDataBack for NTFS however all the data is corrupted.

Please help. we need some files back desperately

Nick

Hi,

Don't boot up your computer with the HDD or you run the risk of the system overwriting the slack of the previously deleted files. I suggest get the services of a data recovery company to recover your data. And this is a good learning point to ensure you have a good backup solution in place.

Keeping a proper data backup and updating it frequently always free you from landing in such circumstances.
Though, user realizes this when there is no other way other than using recovery software or services from data recovery firm.

Nevertheless, as I'm not in a favor of recommending free recovery software here, What i can recommend here is only professional yet useful software that is always useful in getting maximum amount of deleted or lost files from the problem storage media. You can download such software from here.

Feel free to use it for free and enjoy seeing your files getting back to you.

Thanks!!

OK! From my understanding, to rescue your lost data back, there are two ways for you:

1). Use data recovery software online to see how many of your drive files could be restored.

2). Simply send it to some data recovery company for help.

The data recovery process may also cost some money. Just ask everything well and make your decision.

Here is a searched thread that can tell you some detailed information of data recovery:

Hey, I am sorry to hear that you also lose your desired data and also need data recovery help. To be honest, I had ever also had the similar memory car file loss problems and had tried many solutions online. Fortunately, some memory card data recovery software finally rescued most of my photos and other stuffs back with several clicks.

So, if you still want to rescue your stuffs back, immediately stop using that storage device and also take chances with such data recovery software.

Hope you also can learn a lesson to prepare and update device data backups in the future.

Good luck!
