Diruse command line utility
I have used diruse in windows server 2003 before. But now I need to use it windows server 2008 r2. Do I need to download a resource kit or should it work by default in server 2008? I just need to check folder sizes on a server.

Personally, I've never used this tool before but I'm sure that it's not available for Windows Server 2008 R2 now (like some other tools). I would recommed to test, if simple copy of that tool from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2008 R2 allows for it usage. The old location for that file is in folder with Windows Server 2003 Support Tools. Copy it to %WINDIR%\SYSTEM32 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and test if it still works.Regards, Krzysztof ---- Visit my blog at http://kpytko.wordpress.com

As mentioned above, it seems the tool is not available in Windows 2008 R2. What's the exact purpose? Maybe we can find a workaround.TechNet Subscriber Support in forum |If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tnmff@microsoft.com.
