Distinguish between external and internal drive
HelloI have access to win 2003 server, and I see 4 hard drives (for example: c,d,e,f). I know 2 of them are external hard disks and others are internal. Just by checking the property on these drives, how can I know which ones are external and which ones are internal? Thanks

hi there, many of the times you can check the vendor type of the external hard disk , because windows doesnt mention anything as external or internal .so right click the partition --> properties --> hardware is one place we check for the external disk vendor.also you can see it under device manager --> disks.sainath
