Encountering "SVCHOST.exe application error" and total slowdown\freezing up of many computers in a corporate network. We started experiencing computer problems a week ago and it has been a huge challenge trying to diagnose the problem that has been plaguing our network. Our network is running Windows XP with SP2 installed. The following error is consistent on all of the machines:The instruction at "0x7801cb24" referenced memory at "0x7801cb24". The memory could not be "written". In some cases "written" has been changed to "read" but the error was still the same.
