FTP Config
I would like to set up an FTP server on WS2008 R2. Are there any limitations? i.e. number of users that can connect at any one time? I also need to have the connection to be secure and encrypted, reading around it seems i need a certificate and then set the FTP server? Could someone guide me how to get a certificate and how others would then connect successfully or how the procedure all works? I would need all users to enter a username and password that i provide. Also where does one buy/get a certificate and what 'kind' is required? I would appreciate any step by step guides in implementing this. Thanks in advance

I gathered i would require SSL, but a bit more informative link would be nice. Does anyone know if certificates would support IP addresses (so far all seem to support domain names)

If i create a self signed certificate, does this mean other users can only connect by installing this cert on their machine or does it just encrypt the contents? From the users point of view i would have a few accounts and a few shared folders which we would provide to those that need to connect with us. Each user would have their own content area so they cant see each others files. Thanks again
