This is a special hardware configuration that actually provides dual memory banks where information is written to more than one memory location. It provides a level of hardware fault tolerance. It is only on certain servers that have been built this way. Since it is considered a high-end system option, it is only offered on the Enterprise and Datacenter Editions. tgc
